To stop calorie labelling being mandatory for restaurants and cafes.
To stop making calorie labelling on menus for food businesses as this has a huge negative impact on people suffering with eating disorders of all kinds. This is because people with eating disorders (eg. Anorexia, Bulimia etc) tend to calorie count as part of their illness. Having the calories
clearly labelled can negatively reinforce this habit, and people who are currently in recovery can be effected by this as it can cause relapses and distress. I personally am in recovery from an eating disorder and I find calories on menus very distressing as many companies have already started labelling menus and this can cause me to not eat either in that restaurant or the rest of the day.
An alternative option could be to have separate menu that you could request with the calories on it.
