proposed extension to school hours
The government are proposing to extend the school day till 6pm in the evening. This will enable working parents to afford to continue working, allow mothers to re-establish careers without the scrupulously high costs of childcare and enable those parents trapped in the benefits system to be able to work. This is one of the best initiatives that the department of education has come up with to date and could transform millions of lives in the uk.
