Save AONB Wealden from overdevelopment.
To prevent overdevelopment, specifically in Wealden, an area of natural beauty. Wealden residents have and are facing an extortionate amount of large housing developments. Wealden District Council has failed to provide a 5 year housing plan and now Developers are able to use this to their advantage
In the last 3 years my village has seen a growth in housing developments, which currently has increased the number of homes by
50%. The village has no street lights, a small oversubscribed doctors surgery, limited public transport that does not run in the evenings or weekends and a small oversubscribed primary school. Due to the incompetence of our local authority in now producing a 5 year plan, us residents are now at the mercy of developers who use this loophole to line their pockets.
