Set price caps on private PCR and LFT testing for travel
The government is requiring taxpayers to use private testing services when they travel abroad. The cost of these tests need to be capped at a fair and reasonable level
Private testing for travel has created a Wild West of companies charging often extortionate amounts for a poor service.
If the testing of travellers is truly about public health, no one should be profiting from it. It is unfair that people who have paid into the NHS system are excluded from it but, if they have to be, the charges levied should be at cost
