All parliamentary MPs must undergo at least monthly drugs tests. The toilet areas and wastewater from parliament should be frequently tested for traces of narcotics.
This information should be published online to allow the public to make informed decisions on those results.
Parliamentary MPs make life changing decisions that affect us all, therefore they should be subject to the same protocols and regimes that other professions are.
