Localism Act
The localism act is designed to empower communities to take on buildings for community use. However this only happens if councils and property owners agree to relinquish these properties. Buildings with heritage are constantly being left to ruin and I want the government to introduce legislation that holds councils and property owners accountable for these buildings and give communities the opportunity to challenge.
