Minimum wage for coach drivers

Tourism in this country is big business, transporting visitors all over the country and taking UK residents abroad into and around Europe. For this the driver for a company receives on average of £8.00 per hour rising to around £10 per hour.

we would like the government to set a standard hourly rate of £10 per hour for day work and £25 per night if staying away from home.

The responsibility that drivers have is huge, having to take care of a coach that is worth upwards of 250K plus all of the passengers just doesn't warrant £8 per hour. all drivers in the country should be compensated by paying them a decent wage.
