Re open the Exeter to Plymouth via okehampto railway line
To secure a diversionary route for Devon and Cornwall following the closure of the GWR line at Dawlish.
The old route between Tavistock and okehampton should be reinstated and the whole route between Exeter and Plymouth upgraded to modern day standards.
This will bring a secure inland route for trains to run should the line be breached at Dawlish.
It will increase tourism on Dartmoor with greater access and increase good transport alternatives to the Devon community.
It's time to put right just what the government put wrong 50 years ago by closing this route .
