Ban event tickets being resold for more than their face value

Petition Details

Make it illegal to sell event tickets for more than face value. This will stop people, who's only interest is profiteering, from purchasing sought after event tickets.

Additional Information

We believe the practice of ticket touting has gotten out of control. Some people are purchasing tickets and on selling them for more than 10x face value. This can prevent genuine fans on lower budgets being to go to events, and only benefits touts and wealthy people. Tickets are appearing on resale sites the day they go on sale, indicating that the sellers had no interest in attending.
