William Hague's explanation about 1984 attack on Darbar Sahib
Britain: You owe an apology to the Sikhs
(An open letter to the British Government)
The statement made by Mr Hague, Foreign Secretary, on 4 February 2014, in the British Parliament, regarding the role of Margaret Thatcher and the British Government, with regard to the Indian Army’s attack on Darbar Sahib, in 1984, is far less than satisfactory; it poses several serious questions:
Mr Hague’s statement does not absolve Britain in attack on Darbar Sahib
It does not absolve the British Government of its guilt].
Margaret Thatcher’s action as justified? If not, then: 1.condemn action of Margaret Thatcher, and 2.Apologise to the Sikh nation. This apology will be minimum repentance by the British Government.
