Require that the daily Covid-19 statistics are subject to an independent audit.
Regulate to ensure that the daily Covid statistics are independently audited. This will ensure that the figures issued and used to restrict freedoms are at least based on accurate and verifiable data.
I, and others, have serious concerns about the accuracy of the daily Covid-19 statistics. I believe that these are being used to generate a climate of fear and given that context the population needs assurance that these figures are accurate. I am particularly concerned about the vaccination data contained within the daily Covid-19 statistics which does not appear to reconcile to the O.N.S weekly Vaccine Surveillance Report.

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
We understand that you are concerned about the accuracy of data on coronavirus, but we're not sure exactly what changes you want to be made to how this data is currently published.
The UK Government's coronavirus data pages have been developed by the UK Health Security Agency, and compile data from a number of sources. It's not clear how you want this data to be audited, or by what agency.
