Introduce a 'Covid Windfall Tax' on businesses profiting from the pandemic .
Some businesses (e.g. supermarkets, amazon) are making vastly increased profits because of the pandemic. A percentage of this increased profit should go to the NHS - helping to keep more of those companies' customers alive.
Government (i.e the taxpayer) has supported businesses adversely affected by Covid. It is only fair that all those that have profited from the pandemic should give something back.
