The Government should close schools and colleges and move to online teaching, and replace exams with teacher assessed grades, until the COVID pandemic is fully under control.

Additional Information

The ongoing pandemic is getting worse and poses a threat to all people, especially given early evidence indicating current vaccines are less effective against the Omicron variant.

Given the potential risk of COVID to students, teachers and their families, schools and colleges should be closed immediately.
