Keep schools open if there are further restrictions due to the Omicron variant

Petition Details

Do not let children become the forgotten victims of the pandemic again. Do not shut schools if further restrictions are needed. The Government should instead provide financial help for schools to install adequate ventilation equipment and prioritise children’s education alongside protecting the NHS.

Additional Information

There is evidence that the education already lost by children will harm earning prospects for life. We believe children need to be together for their mental health and social development as well as their education. Some vulnerable children also need the support of their teachers to stay safe and healthy.
