Allow vaccinated visitors into hospitals to visit their friends and family.
Allow people who are fully vaccinated against COVID-19 to visit their friends or family in hospital, provided that other necessary measures are put in place too, such as evidence of a recent negative COVID-19 lateral flow test.
From 2020, Millions have suffered so much loss from losing loved ones and being unable to spend their last moments with them. This rule used to make sense but it now needs to stop, as without justification it is just cruel.
Most UK citizens are vaccinated against coronavirus - A strong covid defence to minimise risk or pressure on hospitals.
My dad died from alcohol poisoning in November 2019, I was lucky enough to visit him in hospital. What if you couldn't see your loved ones right now?

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
Petitions must call for a specific action that the UK Government or Parliament are directly responsible for.
We can accept petitions calling for changes to restrictions on visitors where these have been set by the Government, but there are currently no restrictions in England on visiting hospitals.
Decisions about visiting, within national rules, are a matter for individual hospitals, not the Government or Parliament. As a result it is not possible for the Government or Parliament to take the action you have requested.
