Allow parents/caregivers to take vulnerable children out of schools
Give parents and caregivers the right to take their vulnerable children out of school at their discretion and require schools and colleges to support them in online learning
For the most vulnerable students Covid-19 still has the possibility to be life threatening. There is also the possibility that a child may be in the same household as a vulnerable adult who would be at high risk of serious infection or death if the child caught Coronavirus at school and brought it home. By giving parents and caregivers the right to take their children out of school if they see fit it’ll ease serious infections and reduce anxiety around sending children back to school in January
