Use article 16 to bring an end to the time being wasted by the EU
Prime minister is not doing what is expected by the public. Parliament should act instead.

Petitions need to call on the Government or Parliament to take a specific action.
We understand that you want the Government to use Article 16, but we're not sure exactly how you want the Government to use this provision. Article 16 provides that if the Northern Ireland Protocol leads to serious economic, societal or environmental difficulties that are liable to persist, or to diversion of trade, the Union or the United Kingdom may unilaterally take appropriate safeguard measures that are strictly necessary in order to remedy the situation.
You could start a new petition explaining clearly what measures you would like the Government to use Article 16 to take.
