This petition was rejected

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:

Petitions need to call on the Government or Parliament to take a specific action.

We understand that you are concerned about scam calls, but we're not sure exactly what you'd like the Government or Parliament to do.

You could start a new petition explaining clearly what you would like the Government or Parliament to do. Your petition calls for fines for telecommunication companies, but it's not clear when you want these companies to be fined. Your petition also refers to further regulations, but it's not clear what regulations you want to be introduced.

We have published the following petition, which you might like to sign:

Introduce more measures to reduce scam texts and calls: petition.parliament.uk/petitions/591945
