Commission a comprehensive cost benefit analysis of the response to COVID

Petition Details

Undertake a full, quantified assessment of the costs and benefits of COVID response measures. It appears that the Government has been applying costly measures in response to worst case projections. A cost benefit analysis could establish if these measures have been appropriate.

Additional Information

We believe the adverse impacts of measures like 'lockdown' on the economy, businesses, education and development, child safety, prompt diagnosis and treatment of life-threatening diseases, mental health, quality of life, liberty and our very way of life appear to be have not been adequately considered and may be out of proportion to any benefits.
