Government to re-route trains beyond Exeter through Okehampton and Tavistock.
In light of the storm damage to the southwest rail line at Dawlish, we urge the government to listen to South West Councils, Business Leaders and most importantly the Electorate in our calls for the line to be re-routes using existing line routes through Okehampton and Tavistock, allowing a local line service to serve Dawlish, Teignmouth, star cross etc.
Not only will this speed up links to London and other areas but it will ensure that Devon and Cornwall aren't cut off in the event of another round of major storm damage.
Please listen to our requests and prove that the South West beyond Exeter is not forgotten.
