Compulsory disability awareness lessons in mainstream schools
Currently, it is compulsory for all schools to teach equality to all children to discourage racial, religious, gender and sexual discriminatrion. Why is it not compulsory to teach children about disability?
If children were more educated about different disabilitites, then they would have a better understanding, tolerance and empathy. It would also discourage disabilty discrimination and stamp out the bullying children with disabilitites face in school.
