Remove VAT on Fairtrade goods

Additional Information

We call on the government to consider the removal of value added tax (VAT) on Fairtrade goods.

We believe that this would promote the Fairtrade initiative and would encourage sustainable and ethical production both in the UK and abroad and would also make Fairtrade goods accessible to those on a lower income.
