Petition Action

Redirect International Aid to the UK to help everyone - Not just those on benefits

Additional Information

CHARITY BEGINS AT HOME.

We have had successive Governments who seem to prefer to give huge sums of our money away to other countries to grab headlines rather than caring for our own.

We would like the Government to divert at least 20% of the budget for International Aid into projects in the UK, that help EVERYONE, not just those on benefits.

We, the taxpayers would like something back for our money.

Examples :

Free school breakfasts / healthy snacks for ALL schoolchildren, not just those whose parents claim benefits.

Free school holiday sports provision for ALL schoolchildren - to help our kids stay healthy, and to stop working parents having to juggle holidays / pay out huge sums for nearly 22 weeks a year.

Free hot meal daily for ALL Elderly People.

We want EVERY family in the UK included in the spend of this money, ESPECIALLY those who pay for it through their hard earned taxes, who, at present, seem to pay for everything and get nothing.
