Review Rules for UK Government Petitions
Review the Rules and allow Petitions to be published where a public demand exists.
Current rules preclude Petitions concerning Honours. There currently exists a public outcry concerning the awarding of Honours. Honours are awarded by Her Majesty; and Government (through the Prime Minister's audience with Her Majesty) may discuss public concern with her.
You can't sign this petition because it was rejected. But you can still comment on it here at Repetition.me!
The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
Petitions need to call on the Government or Parliament to take a specific action.
We understand that you are concerned about existing rules for petitions, but we're not sure if you want the rules to be changed so that petitions about anything are accepted, or only petitions about honours, or something else.
You could start a new petition explaining clearly what you would like the Government or Parliament to do.
