Reduce single use plastic
Encourage large supermarkets like Asda, Sainsbury’s, Waitrose, Morrisons, Co-op and Iceland to provide refill stations. Tesco has teamed up with the zero-waste shopping platform, Loop, to trial a new online refillable container scheme. Shoppers can choose from over 150 refillable products.
Introducing refill stations across the UK would encourage people to buy products consciously, and reuse packaging.

Decisions about whether to provide refill stations are a matter for individual retailers, not the Government or Parliament. As a result it is not possible for the Government or Parliament to take the action you have requested.
We could accept a petition calling on the Government to ban certain products, or packing for certain products, if that's something you'd like to happen.
