SCREEN BEFORE VACCINE - Screen for T and B cell immunity before covid vaccine.
I'd like parliament to implement a scheme which screens patients for covid immunity before they are offered a vaccine. Right now we risk losing over 100k+ skilled NHS staff who have worked through the pandemic and likely have a good level of immunity.
Cost savings and benefits for the government.
1.Reduced cost and volume of vaccines purchased. Lower overall cost of mass vaccination.
2.Although rare - reduced cost of long term treatment and care from vaccine injuries.
3. Better understanding of immunity levels nationally
4. Improved trust among vaccine hesitant
5. Retain valuable skilled workforce
6. Less division in society thanks to better understanding
7. Medicating people with diagnostic knowledge
8. MOONSHOT THIS PLEASE.

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
Petitions must call for a specific action that the UK Government or Parliament are directly responsible for.
Decisions about what medical screening to offer prior to vaccination is clinical matter for the NHS and other public health agencies, not the Government or Parliament.
We have published the following petition, which you might like to sign:
