Vaccinate all 5-11 as soon as possible
Given the MHRA have cleared vaccines for 5-11 year olds, and the increase in hospital admissions and danger of long covid in this age group, we request the Government vaccinate this age range as soon as possible in line with the USA, Israel and EU countries.
Vaccinating this age group will help to control the spread of the virus in schools, reduce disruption to learning at what is a critical time in a child’s life education. It will reduce the spread of the virus in the community. It will protect young children against hospitalisation, death and long covid.
