Freeze MPs pay for 5 years

Petition Details

Debate practical ways to express apology to the country for letting down constituents during the pandemic. A pay freeze is a step in the right direction and sets a firm example for any future leader who considers treating the rest of the nation with contempt.

Additional Information

In response to the disgraceful behaviour of MPs and civil servants in No 10 during the pandemic, MPs should accept responsibility of poor leadership and failing to act as role models by having pay frozen for 5 years.
