Allow Social Media Platforms The right to request Content Creators To DIsclose Enhanced DBS Information with the Social Media Platform, If They Believe or are informed by Uses That The content Creator Could Be Using That Platform As A means Gain Access To People/children/ vulnrable persons

Limit Preditors ability to create new victims
Allow Parents to feel safe that children are safe online
Allow careers to feel safe vulnrable persons are interacting with content creators that are not preditors
Make Social Media Platforms a safer place for children, woman victims future victims vulnrable people
Stop sexual offenders from using social media as a way to interact with future victims

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:

The terms and conditions of social media platforms are a matter for the operator, and it would already be possible for a social media platform to require its users to disclose certain information, or bar users that failed to do so.

We may be able to accept a petition calling on the Government to introduce new requirements for social media companies, but you would need to be clear what new requirements you want to be introduced.
