Do not stop adequate public funding of the BBC; do not scrap TV license fee.
The Government is proposing to scrap the TV license fee. This will lead to changing the very nature of The BBC. The BBC must remain a publicly funded organisation that serves all of the UK.
The BBC is funded through the TV license fee. The BBC's is not like Netflix or Amazon, or TV channels supported by advertisement. Rather, it offer exceptional value to all audiences, in all parts of the country. It is a fundamental part of British life, identity, and culture. Public funding must continue on an adequate level that must keep up with inflation.
