Bring down the price of gluten free goods
The price of gluten free food in supermarkets more than doubles the price of food containing gluten. The brands that are cheaper are not very nice. Warburtons gluton free tiger loaf is £3.50 as opposed to a regular tiger loaf which is £1.00
Lentil crisps cost £1.80 per packet where as a share bag of regular quavers costs £1.00
I'd love more research to be done into how we can lower the cost of these products to make the good quality things more accessable to people without a large amount of discretionary income

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
We can't accept your petition because the UK Government aren't responsible for the issue you raise. The pricing of individual products would be a matter for suppliers and retailers, not the UK Government or Parliament.
We could accept a petition calling for the Government to fund vouchers or prescriptions for allergy sufferers to subsidise free-from foods, if this is something you would like to see happen.
