Rename the House of Lords to the House of Peers.
Changing the name of the House of Lords to the House of Peers, to reflect the actual membership of this institution including over 200 women who are currently peers.
In today's society it is unacceptable for a Government institution to have a name that reflects only the males in that body.
It undermines the work that the many woman have done to be inducted in this House.
These women and future women deserve to have their gender recognised. By naming it the House of Peers, it will also future proof anyone inducted into this house in the future, regardless of how they choose to describe their gender.
