Petition Details

To prioritize effective safeguarding in schools. Schools officers are to educate and protect our young people from the dangers of carrying knives.
Mayor of London said the safety of Londoners will always be my number one priority. Violent Crime increasing - MOPAC needs to give answers.

Additional Information

30 teenage homicides in London 2021. 27 stabbings, 2 shootings & 1 suspected arson attack.
40 + teenagers charged with murder during 2021.
Mayor of London said safety of Londoners "will always be my number one priority", before adding he was "investing record amounts in policing to put more officers on the streets".
Ofsted Report Mar 2019 "Safeguarding children and young people in education from knife crime" needs updating.
