Petition Action

Order an investigation into Bounce-Back Loans fraud in the Covid support scheme

Petition Details

Order an investigation into each Bounce-Back Loan (BBL) > £100,000 and an audit of every business that was not trading before 1 Jan 2020 and took out a BBL

Claw back monies from any company that took out a BBL and paid more than £100,000 out to shareholder/director loans or shareholders dividends

Additional Information

Yesterday Lord Agnew quit his job as counter-fraud minister attacking the government’s “desperately inadequate” efforts to stop taxpayers’ money being stolen during the Covid pandemic.

These are vast sums of our, the taxpayer's money that has been stolen and the government seems uninterested in trying to find those who have perpetrated this crime and punish them.

Let us force the government to take accountability for our money.
