Finance the Tamar Crossings between Devon & Cornwall as Severn Crossings
Assist the economies of Devon & Cornwall encouraging trade and development in this challenged and under funded part of the UK providing greater opportunities for local businesses and easing the financial burden both for commerce and families who commute to and from work and to visit family etc
A precedent has been set with the Severn Crossings and the benefits on both sides of them for commerce and the local population where many families survive on low wages. This would provide a much needed boost to the economy of the area

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
Petitions must call for a specific action that the UK Government or Parliament are directly responsible for. Decisions about maintenance of local authority assets are a matter for the relevant local authorities, not the Government or Parliament. We can't accept petitions calling on the Government to provide additional funding to individual local authorities.
