Guarantee the independence of Ukraine
The UK has a proud history of standing up for smaller nations in Europe, whether that be the Dutch in the late 1500s, Belgium in 1914 or Poland in 1939. It appears like it is time to again stand up and protect those who wish to be free.

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
Petitions need to call on the Government or Parliament to take a specific action.
We understand that you are concerned about the current situation in Ukraine, but we're not sure exactly what you'd like the Government or Parliament to do.
The UK Government has already set out what it is doing to support Ukraine, and plans for sanctions on Russia if Ukraine is invaded: www.gov.uk/government/speeches/pm-statement-at-ukraine-press-conference-1-february-2022
It's not clear what else you want the Government to do.
If there is a specific action you want the Government to take, that it is not already taking you could start a new petition explaining clearly what you would like the Government to do.
