Ease the restrictions for maternity wards in Wales
Allow partners to stay with their newborn baby and partner overnight when there are complications with the baby and they are not able to go home
Allow longer visiting hours
Allow more than one visitor
Allow the birthing partner to stay with the mother and newborn baby for the first 24 hours.
It is causing stress and anxiety to new mothers and partners being separeted when they need each other more than ever.
Families need to be kept together.
These restrictions are going to cause long term mental health problems.
Partners can be tested every few days the same as mothers are tested for covid.
I have a premature baby who is not well enough to go home and I am having to face each hour alone when my partner is at home wishing he could be with us both. This is heart breaking
