More targets to Primary PSHE: Gut health, Digestive & immune system & breathing
1) Educate connection between Mind & Immune System & Gut Health
2) Deep breathing drills to release stress/anxiety
3) Show animal docmentaries as example; if animals can have an instinct to eat right foods to nourish, so can humans
4) Parents to help to grow kitchen gardens at home
PSHE is basic & not balanced; Focus is more on buddy & mentoring & sex education. Most leave school without knowing their bodies, valuing good nutrition & know-how of proper breathing. How do we expect them to manage as a teen when they have to deal with other unavoidable bodily changes happening to them?
Since 2017, children between 6 & 16 with a mental disorder increased from 1 in 9 to 1 in 6.

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
Petitions need to call on the Government or Parliament to take a specific action.
We understand that you are concerned about what children are taught during PHSE education, but we're not sure exactly what changes you'd like to be made to the curriculum.
From September 2020 the PHSE curriculum has been replaced by curriculum subjects in relationships education (primary), relationships and sex education (RSE) (secondary), health education (state-funded primary and secondary). You can read the curriculum content for these new subjects here: www.gov.uk/government/publications/personal-social-health-and-economic-education-pshe
We can accept petitions calling for changes to the new curriculum, but you'd need to be clear what changes you wanted. The curriculum is about what children are taught in school, so couldn't cover things such as whether parents choose to grow kitchen gardens at home.
