Revert Highway Code rules
The 2022 rule change, giving pedestrians a right of way on the road, over a vehicle, especially at junctions, should be scrapped.
The pedestrian is an untrained user of the highway.
No other countries use the roads in this way.
Foreign drivers will not be aware of these rules.
Cars, bikes and horses have shared the Highway for over a century, and everybody already has the old system in their DNA.
Also all the cars waiting on roads to turn corners, will naturally get other cars running into the back of them.
The chinless wonders who wrote these rules have never been outdoors except for in a chauffeur driven limo.
