Increase the national speed limit to 80mph
Cars are more advanced nowadays. Most cars people commonly drive can exceed 80mph and have brakes to stop in an emergency. 10mph may not seem like a big change, but it could decrease travel time on dual carriageways and motorways by almost 14.3%.
