More dentist to except NHS patients

Petition Details

I have been on the waiting list for over 4 years to get a NHS dentist and that is not fair. To many people who pay taxes and still have to go and pay private. What I would like to see is a dentist has to take at least 50% of NHS patients.

Additional Information

I have waited 4 years and still can’t get a NHS dentist and that’s not acceptable. I am not the only one especially in Devon & Cornwall.

This petition was rejected

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:

Decisions by private dental practices whether or not to accept NHS patients, and how many to accept, are matters for them, and not something the UK Government or House of Commons are directly responsible for.
