Establishing first-class fair and transparent procurement processes of contracts
The government should introduce a fair and transparent process when giving out contracts payed with public funds, so that corrupt bidders can be held accountable and prevented from gaining government contracts.
It is estimated that over £1.27 Billions are lost in yearly at the NHS due to fraud, bribery and corruption, meaning that funds which should be used to save the lives of many and for healthcare advancements land in the pickets of corrupt officials.

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
Petitions need to call on the Government or Parliament to take a specific action.
We understand that you would like to see changes to the procurement process for public contracts but it's not clear what specific action or actions you would the Government to take.
You could start a new petition calling for the procurement process of all public contracts to be transparent, or to be published, if this is something you would like to see happen.
