Compulsory Health insurance for all people visiting the UK
Make it a law that people visiting the UK have compulsory health insurance.
To stop the drain on NHS

Petitions need to call on the Government or Parliament to take a specific action.
We understand that you're concerned about the cost to the NHS of treating foreign visitors, but requiring foreign visitors to have health insurance wouldn't change existing rules about access to NHS services, some of which involve charges for foreign visitors, and some of which are exempt from charge.
We could accept a petition calling for changes to how NHS services are offered to foreign visitors, if that's what you'd like to happen.
