Cancel the VED rate increase (road tax) that is come into effect from April 2022
The Government or Parliament should Cancel the VED rate increase (also known as vehicle tax, car tax or road tax) that will come into effect from April 2022.
As the price of diesel and petrol has reached the highest price in the last 7-8 years and while the people are accepting the conversion to electric vehicles, the British Government will uprate the Vehicle Excise Duty (VED) rates from April 2022. We believe people may understand to a degree the need for tax increase however the rise in fuel costs along with the price of new electric vehicles + Vehicle Excise Duty (VED) rate increase will cancel out any understanding. The Government has the ability to sacrifice some revenue to appease the British people.
