Instigate a 30 second countdown timer on traffic signal cameras.
Bring this into law so that motorists are not caught unaware and have to pay financial penalties and have a conviction on their licence.
Because there is an unfairness in penalising motorists which could be avoided by a minimum 30 second visible countdown, preventing extra stress and possible financial hardship on motorists.

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
Decisions about local traffic measures are a matter for individual local authorities, not the Government or House of Commons.
You could raise this issue with a local councillor, who represents you. You can use this page to find out who your local councillors are, and how to contact them: www.gov.uk/find-your-local-councillors
In any case we only open petitions that have been started using the petitioners full name.
