Compensate all UK citizens with £10,000 for 15 years of austerity: wealth < 250k
To issue £10,000 to all UK citizens with a compensation package, who have less than £250,000 in wealth. (To include all ages, all claiming benefits/disability allowances)
Due to the 15 years of austerity, budget cuts, deterioration of mental health, bad government spending, lack of opportunities, automation and so forth. It’d help provide people with a lifeline that they need, so the poorest in society can have a start into life & work.
Furthermore, the government should continue existing benefit programmes for a minimum of 1 year for those looking for work, should develop payment plans for those in debt and setup a serious fraud team to ensure safety of it.

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
Petitions need to call on the Government or Parliament to take a specific action.
We understand that you want the Government to provide payments to UK citizens, but it's not clear if you want existing benefits to be wound down subsequently, or what support you want to be provided to people in debt.
You could start a new petition explaining clearly what you would like the Government or Parliament to do.
