Make female sanitary products cheaper!
The lack of affordable sanitary products has huge negative impacts, such as embarrassment if unable to afford these products, and in severe cases, period poverty. The prices of sanitary products are far too high considering they are a basic necessity for half of our population. What's the solution?
Government subsidies (an amount of money given by the government in order to decrease prices) should be introduced to make sanitary products more affordable. Period products are as necessary as toilet paper and toothbrushes. So why should anyone be placed in a position where they cannot afford them?
