Ban trading on Sundays
The Government should ban trading on Sundays so all businesses are required to close, with the exception of those providing emergency services, such as plumbers, gas engineers and so on.
With mental health being a massive factor and all services pushed to the limit we need to take a step back and go back to a 6 day week. If supermarkets, call centres etc all close on Sundays, more people will be able to go out enjoy the day with family and have time out of work.
In terms of benefits, restaurants, bars, pubs, clubs could get more revenue through the rest of the week and this should help make people’s lives better. As it stands, no matter the day every day is a working day and this has to change.
