I am making this petition about the litter problem around my school.
I would like the Government to put more care,attention and funding around rubbish and litter in schools.
I care about this issue because around my school litter is a big problem.The litter is a eye sore,it lowers the hygiene standards and is harmful to animal and birds that are present in my school.

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
We understand you're concerned about litter around your school. However it's not clear whether you are concerned about litter on the school grounds, or in the surrounding area.
In any case, litter on the school grounds is a matter for your school, and litter in the surrounding area would be the responsibility of your local authority.
