NHS to raise awareness on social media for complex mental health conditions
I want you to get the NHS to raise awareness on social media platforms for complex mental health conditions such as borderline personality disorder, bipolar, PTSD, etc. Like they do for depression and anxiety.
I have complex mental health and seeing the NHS raising awareness for complex mental health on social media platforms will encourage others to reach out for help. It could prevent many suicides too.
You can't sign this petition because it was rejected. But you can still comment on it here at Repetition.me!
The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
We can only accept petitions about things the Government or Parliament are directly responsible for.
The NHS is responsible for its own social media activity. We could accept a petition calling on the Government to run a public awareness campaign about complex mental health conditions, if that's something you'd like to happen.
You can find out how to access NHS mental health services, if you haven’t already sought help for this condition: www.nhs.uk/mental-health/nhs-voluntary-charity-services/nhs-services/how-to-access-mental-health-services/
If you're concerned about yourself or a loved one, you can find out how you can get help from a mental health charity or organisation here: www.nhs.uk/mental-health/nhs-voluntary-charity-services/charity-and-voluntary-services/get-help-from-mental-health-helplines/
